Riding on a career spanning three decades, the singer/actress has raked in a fortune fromsold out albums, concerts and tours, earning the recognition as one of the greatest female recording artistes of all time by Guinness World Records…
According to reports from eonline, the popstar who was named the top earner in pop music in 2012 has had her net worth jumping from $700,000 to an amazing $1billion, thanks largely to her top-grossing 2012 MDNA Tour.
The tour saw the singer perform seventy-two sell out shows, grossing an estimated $305,158,363, and also saw her rake in $75m in merchandise sales and $10m in TV rights and DVD sales.
The 54-year old has also enjoyed success off stage as her perfume, Truth of Dare saw her earn $60m.
She is also an investor in the popular drinks brand Vita Coco and gym chain Hard Candy. Retail experts estimate she takes home $10m from her Material Girl clothing line, which she runs with her teenage daughter, reports the Huffington Post.
